Refund Policy

Overview

At NTIT, we take pride in delivering quality web design and development services. We want every client to feel confident engaging us. This policy outlines clearly when refunds apply and how to request one.

By engaging our services and making payment, you acknowledge and accept the terms of this Refund Policy.

1. Non-Refundable Deposit

All projects require a deposit of 50% of the R 1 200 setup fee (R 600) before work commences. This deposit is strictly non-refundable in all circumstances. It covers time spent on project scoping, planning, initial design work, and resource allocation.

By paying the deposit, you confirm that you have reviewed the project details and are ready to proceed.

2. Refunds After Work Has Commenced

Once work has begun on your project, refunds are assessed on a case-by-case basis. The following applies:

  • If you cancel the project after work has commenced but before completion, you are liable for the deposit plus payment for all work completed to the date of cancellation, calculated at our standard rates.
  • Any amount already paid beyond what is owed for work completed will be refunded within 14 (fourteen) business days.
  • No refund will be issued for work that has been delivered and approved by the Client.

3. Refunds for Incomplete Deliverables

If NTIT is unable to complete a project due to circumstances on our side, and we have been paid for work not yet delivered, a pro-rata refund will be issued for the undelivered portion within 14 (fourteen) business days.

4. Satisfaction and Revision Process

We do not offer refunds based solely on subjective dissatisfaction with the design or output if the work has been delivered in line with the agreed project brief and scope. Our revision process exists for this reason:

  • Each project includes revision rounds as specified in your package or proposal.
  • Feedback must be submitted clearly and in writing within the agreed review window.
  • We will work with you through the revision process to achieve an outcome you are happy with.

If you believe the deliverable does not meet the agreed brief, please contact us in writing within 7 (seven) days of delivery so we can resolve the issue before any refund is considered.

5. Change of Mind

Refunds are not available on the basis of a change of mind after the project has commenced. If you no longer wish to proceed, the cancellation terms in Section 2 above apply.

6. Monthly Maintenance Plans

For ongoing monthly maintenance or support plans:

  • You may cancel your plan at any time with 30 (thirty) days' written notice.
  • Fees already charged for the current billing cycle are non-refundable, as services for that period have been made available to you.
  • No partial-month refunds are issued.

7. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund or raise a concern about your project, contact us by:

Please include your name, project reference, the reason for your request, and any supporting information. We will acknowledge your request within 2 (two) business days and aim to resolve all disputes fairly and promptly.

8. Consumer Protection

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (South Africa) or any other applicable legislation. Where applicable law provides greater protections than this policy, those protections apply.
